Our two ophthalmologists, Dr Oliver Comyn and Dr Paul Baddeley, are highly-skilled and well-regarded in the industry. They both worked at prestigious eye hospitals in the United Kingdom and were trained by pioneering and world-renowned ophthalmologists.
Dr Comyn and Dr Baddeley are supported by a team of nurses, technicians and support staff who are all trained in providing specialist eye care.
We treat a wide variety of eye conditions all under the one roof, using advanced surgical techniques and the latest equipment to achieve excellent clinical outcomes.
Dr Paul Baddeley
MA (Cantab), FRCOphth
Dr Paul Baddeley joined St George’s Eye Care after working as a consultant ophthalmologist in the United Kingdom. After studying clinical sciences at Cambridge University and completing his medical training at Oxford University, Paul undertook his specialist registrar training in ophthalmology in South Wales. He has completed two oculoplastic, lacrimal and orbital fellowships at the University Hospital of Wales (Cardiff) and John Radcliffe Hospital (Oxford).
Dr Oliver Comyn
MD (Res), FRCOphth
Dr Oliver Comyn, who specialises in cataract surgery and retinal disease, joined St George’s Eye Care from the United Kingdom. He completed specialist ophthalmology training in London and the South East of England, culminating in a vitreoretinal fellowship at the Sussex Eye Hospital in Brighton. He then was selected for a prestigious vitreoretinal fellowship at the world-renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital in London.
